Pumpkins, pies, tractors, and plenty of fall fun for the whole community are coming to Gateway School on Friday. The school's annual Fall Festival, a free event, will transform the campus into a harvest wonderland where visitors can hop on hayrides, cheer on pie-eating contestants, and purchase the perfect Halloween pumpkin grown by students in Gateway’s Life Lab garden.
The school grounds at 255 Swift Street will buzz with activity, featuring everything from rock wall climbing and face painting to henna artistry and the crowd-favorite zorb balls. Live performances by David Cameron, the Middle School Band, and local artists will provide a spirited soundtrack to the autumnal celebrations. Food vendors will include The Penny Ice Creamery, Woodstock’s Pizza, Tacos El Chuy, along with hot dogs and various sweet treats.
“Our Fall Festival is like opening a window into the heart of Gateway School. It’s a chance for everyone – whether you're part of our past, present, or future Gateway family, or just a curious neighbor – to experience our beautiful campus, innovative Life Lab, and warm educational community firsthand,” said Head of School Hannah Wikse. “We’re excited to welcome friends old and new to join in the fun and get a taste of what makes Gateway special.”
For safety reasons, all children must be accompanied by an adult, and pets are not permitted.
