Gait Way to Better Balance - Free Balance Screening
* Registration required. * The Woonsocket Public Library is partnering with the URI Department of Physical Therapy, the Community Health Network, and Carelink to provide free scheduled balance screenings. A licensed rehabilitation therapist or a URI doctoral PT student will administer a series of clinical physical tests and provide recommendations on improving balance and reducing falls. All ages welcome, including individuals who use a walker, cane or other assistive device. Total assessments take approximately 30 minutes.
