Gait Way to Better Balance
* Registration required. * The Woonsocket Library is partnering with the URI Department of Physical Therapy, the Community Health Network, and Carelink to provide free balance screenings. A licensed rehabilitation therapist or a URI doctoral PT student will administer a series of clinical physical tests and provide recommendations on how to improve balance and reduce falls. All ages welcome including individuals who use a walker, cane or other assistive device! Total assessments take approximately 30 minutes.
