Full Wolf Moon Snowshoe Hike, PRE REGISTER
Come howl at the Full Wolf Moon during this special snowshoe-after-dark event at the Arboretum on MONDAY, Jan 13th. It’s thought that January’s full moon came to be known as the Wolf Moon because wolves were more likely to be heard howling at this time of the year. Visitors can also listen to the Wildlife Science Center give a presentation on wolves in the MacMillan Auditorium from 5:15-6 p.m., with a short Q&A after. Please pre-register on the website.
