Full Moon Mantra and Kirtan
Celebrated during the full moon in July, Guru Purnima is an important day in India and around the world when individuals honor their gurus (teachers). You are invited to bring a photograph or object representing your guru to place on the altar for this special kirtan. Enjoy Prashad and tea after the mantra.
The Infinite Compassion Orchestra is Baja Arizona’s premier kirtan ensemble. With a commitment to Bhakti Yoga and traveling to higher states of consciousness through ancient Sanskrit mantras and music.
The Orchestra is an artful blend of East & West. Featuring Kasey Gopal (harmonium and vocals); Ashley Gee (vocals); Hadji Banjovi (arco banjo); Mark Rein’l-Bautista (upright bass); Matt Moon (tabla); and other local devotional musical guests. Come chant with the Infinite Compassion Orchestra.
By donation ($20 suggested). No one will be turned away.
