Frosty Walk
On Thursday December 21, the Whiting-Robertsdale Frosties will host their annual walk on the "darkest evening of the year." This is a great opportunity to find some solitude during the busy holiday season. Centered around the poem, “Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening” by Robert Frost, this annual event has gained national attention.
This year, participants will meet at Lost Marsh Clubhouse at 1001 129th Street in Hammond. The walk starts at 7:00pm. Participants should bring a flashlight and dress for the weather. There is no charge and children who can walk at least 2 miles outdoors are welcome to attend.
