Join Haldun Morgan, Outreach Coordinator for the Alameda County Housing Provider Resource Center (ACHPRC), for an engaging, in-person workshop that explores the deeper issues facing rental property owners in unincorporated Alameda County.
Drawing on a powerful organizing and critical thinking method known as coyuntural analysis, this workshop will help participants collectively examine the current moment in rental housing—connecting personal experience with larger systems, policies, and historical context.
Together, we’ll work to:
• Identify and unpack the complex challenges rental housing providers are facing today
• Understand how local, economic, and political forces intersect in housing
• Strategize new ways to respond, adapt, and stay informed
• Build a sense of community through shared experience and insight
This participatory session is designed to support small and independent property owners who often feel caught in the middle of shifting rules, rising costs, and increased responsibilities. If you’ve ever asked, “How did we get here?” or “What can I actually do about this?” — this is a space for you.
Free and open to the public. Registration is suggested but not required.
Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
