From Apples to Ice Cream: Augustus Crane's Gentleman's Farm
When the patriarch of the Crane family purchased Acorn Hall in 1857, a born-and-raised city boy became the proud and enthusiastic owner of nine acres in the country. Join F.M. Kirby Curator of Collections Anne Motto to explore how recent archaeological exploration, archival documents, and collections items help Morris County Historical Society bring this gentleman’s farm to life.
