Friendship Place 35th Anniversary Gala
Celebrate 35 years of ending homelessness and rebuilding lives at Friendship Place’s 35th Anniversary Gala on Thursday, September 17, at Conrad Washington, DC.
Join community leaders, supporters, and advocates for an evening of dinner, drinks, and an inspiring program honoring four leaders whose work has strengthened the DC region:
Jean-Michel Giraud, Friendship Place President & CEO, celebrating 20 years of transformative leadership
DC Councilmember Brianne Nadeau, a longtime advocate for affordable housing and homelessness services
Sue Marshall, founding executive director of The Community Partnership for the Prevention of Homelessness
Carole Evans, National Symphony Orchestra violinist and founder of Friendship Place’s Music of Friends concert series
Founded by a small group of DC neighbors in 1991, Friendship Place has grown into one of the region’s leading providers of homelessness services, now serving more than 5,400 people annually through housing, employment, street outreach, health care, and other programs that help people build lasting stability.
