Friendsgiving
Thirties Friendsgiving is for those of us that work hard but play harder. Some of us refer to ourselves as professional with a side of ratchet; the kids are at home, and we outside tonight...you get the gist.
Anywho...we combine R&B and AfroTech vibes with good energy, karaoke, real dancing, and a splash of ratchet for you and your friends to party, unwind, and celebrate the season together. Here's the fun:
Free parking and sections available for no cost
Doors open at 8:00pm with R&B vibes
We will give you a name tag. Your name is optional. Here's the color code:
Red name tag: I’m Just Here to Have Fun, Not to Socialize (You’re focused on the music, the moment, your people, and the vibe—no pressure to engage beyond that).
Yellow name tag: I’m Here With My Friends/Spouse/Significant Other, But Open to Talking” (You came to enjoy your crew first, but you’re cool with meeting new people and having light conversations throughout the night).
Green name tag: “I’m Open to Meeting New People.” (You’re here to talk, connect, mingle, and possibly find a vibe. Friendly energy, open conversations, and new friendships are welcome.
Karaoke starts at 9:00. The best karaoke winner gets $100!
The party transitions to Afrobeats at 10:00pm. Still some R&B, of course...just heating things up a bit
At midnight, It's turn-up ratchet. Not too crazy, but any opportunity to twerk happens at midnight to 2.
