Tonight we'll be enjoying a fantastic performance by Løvlys! Seattle-based folk trio Løvlys performs Nordic fiddle music that transports listeners to far-off lands, both real and imagined. Like the sun breaking through leaves in a forest, their captivating harmonies and arrangements bring new light to traditional tunes passed down over generations. Mira Dickey (hardingfele* and fiddle), Elise Snoey (hardingfele and fiddle), and Patrick Gunning (guitars and fiddle) bring sparkling touches and driving energy to timeless music. *Hardingfele is a traditional stringed instrument considered to be the national instrument of Norway.
