Free Oral Cancer Screenings at Senior Services Plus
On Tuesday, July 29th, the Lewis and Clark Community College Dental Hygiene Program invites you to take part in a FREE oral cancer screening and education event at Senior Services Plus, located at 2603 N. Rodgers Avenue in Alton. From 10am-1pm in SSP's Meeting Room, dental hygiene students will perform quick, non-invasive screenings under the supervision of licensed faculty.
What’s Included:
Oral cancer screening of the mouth, tongue, lips, and throat
Education on risk factors, signs, symptoms, and prevention
Resources on maintaining optimal oral health
Free toothbrush and toothpaste
Information about the Paul B. Hanks Dental Clinic, including affordable dental services such as cleanings, x-rays, sealants, fluoride, and more!
BONUS:
Everyone who receives a screening will be entered into a raffle to win a Waterpik Sonic-Fusion – an electric toothbrush and water flosser in one!
Please Note:
Avoid eating immediately before your screening.
No appointment needed – walk-ins welcome!
