Free Market of Detroit
Created by interdisciplinary artist and Buffalo Prescott resident Halima Afi Cassells, the Free Market of Detroit (FMoD) reimagines how our community defines value through the exchange of stories, wisdom, and gently used goods.
Join us for this back-to-school edition of FMoD featuring fashion workshops, a DJ set, and opportunities to connect with neighbors through sharing. Participants are invited to bring up to one bin of gently used items, with a minimum of one item required to participate.
Part exchange, part gathering, the Free Market creates space for belongings to live on, stories to be shared, and new connections to take shape. We look forward to seeing you there!
