FREE Foster Parenting Information Session
UMFS will be hosting FREE Foster Parenting Information Sessions throughout communities in Tidewater in efforts to raise awareness about the critical need for foster parents in the Hampton Roads area.
Our information session requires no commitment... we’ll provide more details about the youth we serve, as well as the extensive training and comprehensive support UMFS provides along the way so you can make an informed decision. If you are married or will be co-parenting with a significant other that lives in your home, we ask that both adults attend the information session.

7/17/25 at 12:00 p.m. in Norfolk at the Mary D. Pretlow Branch Library (2nd Floor Conference Room) 111 W Ocean View Ave, Norfolk, VA 23503
We will be adding additional dates throughout the 757 in the coming months, so watch for an additional information session coming near you! Feel free to pass along the dates and times to family and friends near our local sessions.
