Free First Day Hike at Kings Gap
Resolve to start the New Year on the right foot with a refreshing hike. Options available for easier and more difficult trails. Friendly, leashed dogs are welcome.
Please bring water, dress for the weather, and have sturdy footwear. Hike locations subject to change due to weather.

𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐧𝐬 𝐇𝐢𝐤𝐞
Enjoy a 1.5 mile trek along level trails. Meet at the Pine Plantation Day use Area
𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧'𝐬* 𝐇𝐢𝐤𝐞
Take a moderately difficult 2 mile hike along the park boundary and our watershed trail that follows a stream. Meet at the Kings Gap Hollow Day Use Area.
𝐅𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧 𝐇𝐢𝐤𝐞
Kids, join us with your grown-ups for this 1.5 mile hike along the top of the mountain. We will make stops along the way to interact with nature. Meet outside the Education Building.
𝐀𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐬-𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲** 𝐇𝐢𝐤𝐞𝐬
There are two options to choose from: an easier 1.5 mile hike along our Forest Heritage Trail or a more difficult 3 mile hike along our Maple Hollow Trail - take your pick. Meet outside the Education Building.
