· Level: A1/Novice-Low/Beginner to B2/Upper-Intermediate
· Course Duration: 24 hours (12 weeks; 2 hours per week; 2 one-hour sessions)
· Delivery Format: Live Virtual Classes
· Total Cost: Free
· Students: 15 – 20 students per class/cohort
· Standards: World-Readiness Standards for Learning Languages/American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages
Course Description: Our ESOL course series for adults equips students with essential English skills for everyday tasks such as introductions, asking for directions, shopping, job interviews, and financial literacy. It also covers health and wellness, understanding the U.S. education system, and emergency preparedness. Additionally, the courses introduce students to U.S. culture, history, geography, and key services, helping them gain confidence and navigate life in their new environment.
