Free Electronics Recycling Event
The Village of Fox Point will be partnering with COM2 for a free electronics recycling drop off event on Saturday, April 5th from 9:00AM to 12:00PM. The event will be held in the parking lot in front of Village Hall located at 7200 N. Santa Monica Blvd.
Traffic entering the event will only be allowed from northbound Santa Monica Blvd. and this traffic should keep to the right so regular northbound traffic is not blocked. Cones will be set up to establish the left hand through lane. Southbound crossovers will be closed to prevent traffic back ups. Traffic exiting the event will only be allowed to continue onto northbound Santa Monica Blvd. Please remember that Lake Drive is closed to traffic related to the DOT reconstruction project.
Visit this link to see what items are and are not accepted. All items received are handled through a Chain of Custody process. Items are handled by trained staff and secured during transportation to the recycling facility to prevent unauthorized access. All devices containing sensitive data will undergo certified, industry standard data destruction (shredding or secure wiping of data).
