COT will perform with Mariachi Aztlán de Pueblo High School. This talented mariachi group placed 1st, for the 7th year in a row, at the Tucson International Mariachi Conference. Featured on the concert will be mariachi favorites and symphony music by Bizet, Fauré, and Borodin. In addition, Young Artists' Ensemble Competition first place winners, Hannah Zhang and Richard Peng will perform an excerpt from Elgar's Violin Sonata in E minor. Prior to the concert, at 2:30, COT will offer the Musical Instrument Petting Zoo. Audience members of all ages are encouraged to try to make music with ...
