FREE After-School Program: Teen Creators in the Makerspace 10-Week Print & Laser Apprenticeship
Are you a teen who loves to design, build, and bring creative ideas to life? Join our 10-week apprenticeship program designed for teens to explore the world of screen printing and laser cutting — from your first sketch to your final product. ✂️🖼️
This is a hands-on, project-based program where each session builds on the last — consistent attendance is required!
What You’ll Learn:
✨ Basics of vector design
🎨 Design 101 for screen printing and laser
🖨️ How to run a screen printing studio:
• Print transparencies
• Burn and clean screens
• Print your own designs
🛠️ How to safely and confidently operate a laser cutter
📍 Who: Teens (13-18) interested in hands-on making & digital design!
🕓 When: Thursdays, 4:30–6:00 PM
📆 Duration: 10 weeks, ends December 4th (skips November 27th).
