Most hackathons end with a demo. This one ends with a price tag.
Founder in a Day is nine hours at Music City Work Club in The Nations where you build a real, working app with AI, put it on a real website, put a price on it, and pitch it to a room full of Nashville. Coaches and AI experts work the floor all day to help you get past whatever is blocking you: product, code, marketing, pricing, and the pitch.
THE DAY
9 AM Build: idea to working app, live, with coaches and AI experts in the room
1 PM Launch: landing page, payments on, pitch polished
5 PM Showcase: doors open to the public until 6 PM. Nashville walks the floor and sees your demo.
THIS IS FOR YOU IF
You have an app idea you have never started because you cannot build it yourself. You have been waiting on a developer, a budget, or a technical cofounder. You want something real built by the end of the day, not a business plan. No coding experience required. Most people here have none. No idea yet? Come anyway. The first hour is for choosing one.
WHAT YOU WALK OUT WITH
A real app people can actually use. A live website at its own address. A price on it and a way to get paid. A pitch you have delivered to a room of real people. Photos and video of the day. And coaches who worked through your problems with you.
WHAT TO BRING
A laptop, a charger, and something you have been meaning to start. You will use your own AI coding tool accounts; setup instructions are sent before the day. Meals and coffee are covered all day.
NOT BUILDING? COME LOOK.
The 5 PM Showcase is free and open to Nashville. Walk the floor, meet brand new founders, and see what a day can build. RSVP free at founderinaday.com.
