Foothills Genealogical Society Garage Sale
This two-day fundraiser will help sustain operations for the all-volunteer 120 member genealogical society. Proceeds will go directly toward essential costs like office rent, website hosting, and resource development to ensure that the rich family histories of this community will continue to be preserved and shared.
Shoppers will find a wide range of well-priced items, including gently used clothing and accessories, household items, small furniture, garden and patio items, books, tools, antiques, office supplies, dolls, toys, blankets, framed pictures and more. No large furniture, computers, printers, or TVs. Whether furnishing a home, looking for vintage inspiration, or just bargain hunting, there will be something unique and worthwhile.
For 44 years, Foothills Genealogical Society has supported genealogical research with educational programs, classes and field trips and by preserving and publishing historical records from Clear Creek, Gilpin, Jefferson and Park counties in Colorado. Records are available on the FhGS website.
Meetings are held monthly, September through May, and guests are always welcome. There is ample parking and an accessible entrance at Applewood Valley United Methodist Church, 2035 Ellis St., Golden. There are also ZOOM options. Information and individual and family memberships are available at https://foothillsgenealogy.org and donations are welcome.
