The diabetes presentation is a basic overview of the chronic metabolic condition caused by a sedentary lifestyle and poor dietary intake. Discuss simple ways patients receiving palliative care can implement activity into their daily lives. Most patients feel that diabetes is predestined for them due to genetics. While type II diabetes is usually multigenerational, it is preventable. Presenting the idea of avoiding processed foods, moving daily, and making simple lifestyle choices to avoid a diabetes diagnosis.
