Food Drive at Trumbull Stop & Shop on July 26 from 10 – 1
Stop, Shop & Support Your Neighbors! Doing your food shopping on Saturday? Please consider adding an item or two to your cart.
We will be collecting food and non-food items to support our neighbors at Stern Village / the Trumbull Housing Authority.
Food items needed include cold cereal; fruit cups (peaches, fruit cocktail, pineapple); peanut butter – small jars; jelly - small jars; canned beans - black, pinto or kidney; canned meats – (tuna, chicken, etc.); instant coffee; tea; sugar (small 1 lb bag); non-dairy creamer (small); spaghetti sauce; cooking spices - (salt/pepper/garlic powder); ketchup, mustard or mayonnaise; canned vegetables - (mixed veggies, peas & corn, spinach, carrots, potatoes); pudding mix or cups; and rice – small bag or box.
Non-food items needed include paper products - (napkins, paper towels, toilet paper, etc.); hand soap; dishwashing liquid; dish sponges; laundry detergent, small bottles (no pods, please); and plastic bags – all sizes.
Cash donations and gift cards are also appreciated.
All donations will benefit Stern Village / Trumbull Housing Authority, which supports residents who are elderly or disabled and facing financial hardship.
