For a limited time this spring, Washington, D.C. will host The Fluffy Cloud—a groundbreaking 360° immersive art and technology installation born at Burning Man—as it makes the world debut of its brand new multi-format experiential residency. For 2 weeks only, this nearly 3-story tall, massive glowing sound system will bring its patent-pending 200,000 watts of multi-sensory technology, often described as “swimming through sound,” and “a stupefying production,” (EDM.com) —and apply it in entirely new ways. The same platform that has thrilled hundreds of thousands of dancers for nearly a decade retasked with one purpose: to make that magic available to everyone – all ages, all interests – for the first time. From a science-based wellness experience dubbed the 15-TON SOUND BATH, to the all-ages ENTER CLOUDFALL immersive art exhibit, to the Burning Man-inspired PSYCHOTIC JUKEBOX LOUNGE where anyone can take control of the music, and the genre-spanning FLUFFY CLOUD CONCERTS—The Fluffy Cloud will run seven days a week, day and night, in a constantly evolving experience. “People aren’t just looking for another night out,” said Creator and Founder Jorge Perdomo. “They want connection and something they’ve never felt before. Designed for everyone—from families to date nights to the simply curious—Cloudfall brings festival-grade technological and artistic magic to audiences of all kinds. 15-Ton Sound Bath (Select Dates) An extremely limited-capacity, science-based wellness experience designed in collaboration with leading U.K. neurosensory experts and research from institutions including MIT, Harvard, Stanford, NIH, and NASA. This 45-minute, fully reclined “zero-G” immersion surrounds just 20 guests at a time in 360° sound and light—creating a “float tank” made of sound, engineered to induce deep, involuntary calm through brainwave entrainment and full-body sensory stimulation.
