The race benefits Austin Pets Alive!, which pioneers lifesaving programs designed to save animals at highest risk of euthanasia. Entry fees for the 5K are $30 for those registering online through May 1 or $40 on the day of the race. Awards will be given to the top male and females in the following age groups: up to 12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60 and up. Race day registration begins at 7:45 with the race starting at 9 a.m. Strollers and animals on a leash are allowed. The race course will meander through Flora, including along the comm...
