Floor Loom Demo
This will be a basic instruction on how to use our wonderful floor loom! Come learn how to use this beautiful piece of art to help create a community project.
Did you know we have a big floor loom in The Studio? All those strings, pedals, and extra bits might be a little intimidating if you have never used a loom before.
No worries! Peggy is here to dispel the mystery of weaving on the floor loom. She will show you all the basics to using the pedals and shuttle to create unique patterns.
There will be a chance to sit down and get hands-on experience with one of the oldest forms of textile construction.
No experience necessary-all materials are provided!
Just bring some curiosity and willingness to learn something new.
What's the "community project"? Come to the class and learn about that too!
