Flamenco Guitarist Juanito Pascual with Special Guests
Juanito Pascual is recognized across the U.S. and Spain as a unique flamenco and jazz guitarist. He returns to HVCC with three, special guests, including Jorge Pardo, an icon among flamenco musicians. The Grammy Award winner is credited with introducing the flute in flamenco during his 20 years performing with renowned guitarist Paco de Lucia’s Sextet, and remains one of today’s most innovative and influential flamenco artists. His latest album, "Trance Sketches," featuring Pascual and other musicians, was named 2023’s Best Jazz Album at MIN in Spain. NelÃda Tirado, dancer, and José Moreno, percussionist/vocalist, also return to further enhance a showcase of the full passion, excitement and beauty of flamenco. Open free to the public; no reservations or tickets are required to attend.
