First Friday with Dan DeRidder
Dan is a Knoxville native who currently resides in SoKno. He has worked many jobs, including radio sales, newspaper sales, landscaping, carpentry, bar tending, mental health work, house painting, and as a whitewater river guide. He first began painting landscapes by following Bob Ross. His style is also influenced by painter Wilson Bickford and watercolor artist Jim Gray. He is an avid hiker and inveterate mushroom forager. When he’s not in the woods, you will likely find him in his studio or garden.
