First Conversations Story Time with Lindsay Smith
Lindsay has created a program where thoughtful choices of picture books will be read aloud that are inclusive of diversity and emphasize kindness and acceptance. A cart of picture books to bring home on the subject will be available to caregivers each time, as well as a chance for the adults to ask questions. The program is designed for children ages 3-5 and their caregivers. Please call the Children’s Room to register at 781-631-1481.
Lindsay Smith is a local career educator focused on neglected communities and passionate about anti-racism education. Currently, she is on the board of the Marblehead Racial Justice Team, the Board of Trustees at the Marblehead Charter School, and a resident who is the mother of three daughters.
