Finger Lakes Community Band
Finger Lakes Community Band will present “Home Grown”, one of the most unique concerts in the band’s history. FLCB has pooled together only band compositions from composers right here in the Finger Lakes and Rochester area. Hear wonderful pieces like Jeff Beal’s House of Cards theme. Reminisce with beloved, local music teacher and composer, Jack Bullock`s Big Band Spectacular. And, it wouldn’t be a “Home Grown” concert without selections from Chuck Mangione and Eastman School’s Howard Hanson. Come listen and learn about Naples own march king, Owen E Sutton who wrote stirring marches in the late 19th century. Experience a special premiere of, A Peace in Time, a memorial tribute to former FLCB cherished trumpeter, John Moreland, composed by a fellow band member. Get your tickets early. This is a concert that proves HOME IS WHERE THE ART IS!
