Festival of Lessons and Carols
Converse University and our broader Spartanburg community are invited to enjoy a beautiful holiday tradition with the annual Festival of Lessons & Carols, held in Twichell Auditorium on November 30, 2023. The prelude will begin at 7:30 pm and the official program will begin at 8:00 pm. As always, this event is free and open to the public.
Lessons and Carols has become a tradition at Converse, and is a service of worship involving all segments of the local community. The festival is a customary worship that celebrates the Christmas season. Traditional Christmas carols and hymns, along with student-led scripture readings will be presented as a part of the program.
In addition to the two Christmas trees on Twichell stage, luminaries will line the front campus for the evening’s glow.
