Festival Napa Valley: The Films of Ennio Morricone: Cinema Paradiso
Few film scores capture the magic of cinema like Ennio Morricone’s Cinema Paradiso. This beloved coming-of-age classic follows a filmmaker reflecting on his childhood in a small Sicilian town, his love of movies, and the mentor who shaped his passion (played by Philippe Noiret). Directed by Giuseppe Tornatore, the 1988 masterpiece won the Academy Award and Golden Globe for Best Foreign Language Film, along with the Grand Prix du Jury at Cannes.
