Fearless Kitty Rescue Holds Open House for New Medical Center
Fearless Kitty Rescue is holding an open house on June 7th for their new Medical Center serving as a lifesaving facility for cats and kittens. From treatment rooms to recovery areas, every corner of this center represents hope for the thousands of kitties who will need care in the years ahead.

Steve Hedden, President and CEO of Fearless Kitty Rescue, said, “This Medical Center is a testament to our incredible donors and volunteers – it’s their support and dedication that made this new facility possible to give us resources to save even more cats. Our mission this year was to expand and have the space and capabilities to accommodate more kitties than ever -- and this new building does that.”
Echoing some of Hedden’s comments, Melinda Oyos, Fearless Kitty Rescue Operations Manager, said, “We are so thankful for the support shown by our community and cat advocates. Donors and volunteers alike overwhelmed us with their generosity of funds, time and effort to get our new facility up and running in just three months. Day-to-day operations are going amazingly well so far.”
Oyos went on to say that as this exciting milestone is celebrated, kitten season is already in full swing. Right now, Fearless Kitty Rescue is caring for 67 kittens – and tiny paws come with very big appetites. Shelves empty quickly as these little ones grow stronger.
What You Can Do
If the public would like to help, donations of wet and dry kitten food are especially appreciated. They can be brought to the Open House or dropped off at The Rescue anytime. Every can and every bag help nourish a vulnerable kitten on their journey to a loving home.
