Get ready for an unforgettable afternoon of food, fun and community support! The Steffens Scleroderma Foundation and the Degos Disease Foundation invite you to a family-friendly event on Sunday, September 29, 2024, from 12 to 4 p.m. at the Schenectady Fire Department.
Event Highlights:
• Delicious BBQ by Miller’s Backyard BBQ: Savor mouthwatering BBQ from one of the best local providers, Miller’s Backyard BBQ, based in Cohoes. Enjoy a hearty meal while supporting a great cause!
• Fun for All Ages: Bring the whole family for a variety of exciting activities! We have something for everyone, from games and raffles to face painting and more.
• Silent Auction and Raffles: Don’t miss your chance to bid on unique items and experiences in our silent auction. Plus, every BBQ ticket purchase enters you into a drawing for fantastic prizes!
• Support a Worthy Cause: All proceeds from the event will benefit the Steffens Scleroderma Foundation and the Degos Disease Foundation. Your support helps advance research, promote awareness and encourage collaboration to find a cure for scleroderma, Degos disease and related disorders.
Ticket Information:
BBQ Tickets (Advance Purchase Only): Tickets for the BBQ must be purchased in advance. General admission is $44.52, and tickets for children 12 and under are $23.18. Each ticket includes a delicious BBQ meal and entry into the raffle drawing. Purchase your tickets here. Please note that BBQ tickets will not be available on-site.

About the Foundations:
The Steffens Scleroderma Foundation is dedicated to supporting and promoting research toward the treatment and cure of scleroderma, Degos disease and other related disorders. We aim to raise awareness and foster understanding of these conditions, especially among healthcare professionals, while encouraging collaborative efforts nationally and internationally to achieve these goals.
