The program will present a century of music for the band, ranging from "Colonel Bogey" (Kenneth Alford), composed in 1917, to "A Mother of a Revolution" composed by Omar Thomas in 2018. Two selections based on English folk song, "Sea Songs" by Ralph Vaughan Williams and Percy Grainger’s masterwork "Lincolnshire Posy" will be performed. Two more pieces composed by American composers will round out the evening, "After the Thunderer" by Ira Hearshen, and Eric Whitaker’s "October."
The concert is free and open to the public.
