Faculty Recital Series: Christie Echols
ALTERNATIVE BASS: A recital featuring contemporary and electronic works for Upright and Electric Bass, presented by ECSU’s Music Technology Professor, Christie Echols. This performance will feature works by Byron Crenshaw and Darian Donovan Thomas, commissioned by Bass Players for Black Composers, a new work written and performed in conjunction with Central Connecticut State University Electronics Professor June Aino, and two world premiers of electronic bass works by Sean Harold. Take a dive into the unknown and explore the alternative side of bass music.
