FACTS Fest
The FACTS Initiative, a Charlotte-based non-profit dedicated to providing accessible, trauma-informed mental health services, is thrilled to announce its inaugural FACTS Fest, a transformative community wellness event. Set to take place on Saturday, June 28th, at Pearl Street Park in Uptown Charlotte, FACTS Fest will be the organization's largest fundraiser to date, with an ambitious goal to provide 200 vital therapy sessions for underserved children and families in the community.
FACTS Fest is designed as an immersive day of holistic well-being, inviting individuals and families of all ages to explore practices that foster mental health, resilience, and connection. Attendees can look forward to a diverse array of peer-led wellness sessions, including invigorating yoga, calming meditation, and dynamic fitness activities. The event will also feature separate, engaging activities specifically for children, ensuring a family-friendly atmosphere where everyone can participate in their journey towards emotional and social well-being.
The FACTS Initiative fills a crucial gap in the Charlotte community by offering accessible mental health services to underserved populations, including those impacted by domestic violence, human trafficking, and homelessness. Since its inception, the organization has served dozens of families through high-quality, accessible, and compassionate care.
Attendees are encouraged to come prepared to engage, learn, and contribute to a cause that impacts the core fabric of our community. All sessions are peer-led, creating an inclusive and supportive environment, and attendees will sign a waiver at registration.
