Facing Freedom: Religious Liberty in Philadelphia
What does American religious freedom look like? One answer stands at the entrance of Philadelphia's National Museum of American Jewish History. Religious Liberty, the 1876 sculpture commissioned by the B’nah B’rith to honor the American Centennial, embodies this ideal from a Jewish American perspective. In this lecture, Dr. Joellyn Zollman will lead us in an examination of this iconic artwork.
