Exploring Nature through Art: Deconstructing Nature
Join artist Nina Weiss for a deep dive into the complex and fascinating colors of nature! Using rocks, plants, and flowers from the Museums' collection, we will discover how to tease apart the colors of each object. A color theory review will help students understand how to re-create and mix color in nature. We will create color studies and swatches in this mixed-media class that unlock color secrets. Painting experience not necessary! This class will be held in our Flat Show Gallery, in conjunction with Nina's Grounded exhibition currently on display.
