Exploring Artists: Art Making Class - Matisse
Each class focuses on one artist. On Monday, you’ll learn about Vincent Van Gogh’s life and love for nature. Once inspired, you will paint a canvas of a starry night! On Wednesday, you’ll learn about Henri Matisse’s devotion to color and dramatic lines. Once inspired, you will use scissors to paint cut-out art. And on Friday, you’ll learn about Claude Monet’s use of light to capture impressions of landscapes. Once inspired, you will paint a canvas of water lilies!
These classes can be taken as standalone workshops, or in a series.
