Explore Wizard Ranch Nature Preserve
Join a Lancaster Conservancy naturalist to explore the meadows and forests of one of the Conservancy’s most recently opened nature preserves. We'll look for wildflowers in bloom and witness how the removal of invasive plants and replanting with native species leads to increased biodiversity.
What to Expect: This will be a 2-mile hike at an easy pace over uneven terrain with some steep climbs. This event is for ages 8 and up, and all participants must be accompanied by an adult if younger than 18. There are no restroom facilities available at this site.
What to Bring: Dress for the weather and bring drinking water.
