Reel in a trophy trout at Linvilla Orchards Expert Fishing Derby. If you’ve always dreamed of catching the perfect trout, this is the opportunity to do just that. This derby is where you’ll find our most competitive fishermen and fisherwomen alike. This is your chance to win the grand prize and a year's worth of bragging rights! The lucky fisherperson who can reel in the biggest catch wins a whopping $250 cash grand prize!
Orchard Lake is stocked with tons of the very best rainbow trout, with the largest up to 30”. Each fisherman is allotted to keep one fish. Each additional trout kept over 2 lbs is $15.99 and under 2 lbs is $5.99.
No fishing license is required! Feel free to bring your own rod, or they are available for rent and bait will be for sale. We will also be serving breakfast, lunch, and hot & cold drinks. This event is rain or shine, so there is no excuse to miss out on a fishtacular day at the lake.
