Experience FIRE & ICE at Moerlein Lager House - Ice Bars, Fire Performers and Themed Dinners
Moerlein Lager House announces Fire & Ice weekends on Fridays and Saturdays February 3, 4, 10, 11, 17, 18, 24, and 25 from 5:30-10pm. The event is free to attend and will feature an outdoor ice bar, ice sculptures, fire performers and firepits. Plus, Mixologist Molly Wellmann will curate Fire & Ice cocktails and host themed dinners. Moerlein Lager House Igloos will be available for rent at the event.
Nightly fire performers will light up Fire & Ice with regular performances on lighted podiums set up in the Moerlein Lager House outdoor beer gardens. Along with the fire performers, the area will have an Ice Bar featuring a drink luge, ice displays and firepits. Food and beverage will be available both inside and outside of the Moerlein Lager House. Molly Wellmann curated Fire & Ice cocktails will be available throughout the venue.
Moerlein Lager House will also rent their large igloos that can hold up to 14 people during the event. Igloos sessions are every Friday and Saturday in February 5:30-7:30pm and 8-10pm. Igloos can be reserved at www.moerleinlagerhouse.info.
Fire & Ice theme dinners hosted by Mixologist Molly Wellmann or Beer Baron Greg Hardman will be available as part of the event. Dinners are inside the Moerlein Lager House and include a three course Fire & Ice menu by Chef Nathan Whittington along with three specialty cocktails prepared by Mixologist Molly Wellmann. Plus, a special LED light presentation by our Fire & Ice performers will take place at the dinner. Depending on the theme dinner Molly Wellmann or Greg Hardman will be in person describing how each Fire & Ice cocktail or beer is prepared and how it pairs with each course. Menu:
First course
Bruschetta with whipped herb goat cheese, caramelized pears, rocket arugula, and Balsamic Vinegar reduction
Entree
FIRE roasted red pepper Braciole - Beef Braciole with fire roasted red peppers, roasted garlic, duxelles, fresh basil leaves, fresh mozzarella. Served with parmesan risotto and grilled lemon asparagus.
Dessert
Lava cake, brulee banana, salted caramel ice cream, raspberry puree
Molly Wellmann Fire & Ice theme dinners have two seating’s 5:30pm and 8:00pm Saturdays February 4, 11 and 18. Tickets are $79 +10.8% tax/fees and includes gratuity.
