The Chili Cook-Off is a community fundraiser that invites local restaurants and amateur cooks alike to support Monroe County nonprofits supporting child-abuse prevention, scholarships for local high school seniors, CASA and the Child Advocacy Network, Holiday Camp, veterans, first responders, and our Annual Law Day. Our chefs compete for awards in several fun categories:
Spiciest Chili
Most Unusual Chili
Fan Favorite
Best Decorated Booth/Table
Best Chicken Chili
We will also have local celebrity judges, including community leaders and public figures, joining us to
sample the entries and help select our winners.
Of course, community members who purchase a ticket also get to try the chefs' best efforts and vote for their favorite chili!
The 4th Annual Chili Cookoff is a family event that also features pumpkin decorating for the kids, music provided by DJ Freddie Freeze, a cash bar, a 50/50 raffle and a basket raffle. There are many ways for family members of all ages to enjoy the 4th Annual Chili Cookoff!
