Everly Brothers Experience with the Tin Drum Family Band
Brothers Zach and Dylan Zmed return to the Grand Annex, honoring the rock and roll legacy of Don and Phil Everly, who paved the way for iconic musicians including Bob Dylan and The Beatles. Their authenticity is unmatched, even being welcomed back into the Everly Brothers' childhood town of Shenandoah, Iowa, where they played for the brothers' graduating class of 1957 and performed in front of the Everly family home. Dedicated to preserving the history of the Everly Brothers' career as musical pioneers, the Zmed brothers bring both likeness and lineage into their passionate tribute.
They're joined onstage by drummer Burleigh Drummond Jr., who will be opening with his musical family, "The Tin Drum Family Band." Made up of long-time musicians and budding stars, the indie-folk family of four consists of Ambrosia founding member Burleigh Drummond Sr., Ambrosia keyboardist and wife of 40 years Mary Harris, daughter and singer-songwriter Sierra Drummond, and son Burleigh Drummond Jr., who has both collaborated with artists like the Zmed brothers and created his own music.
