Despite being a prolific composer in 19th-century Brno, Czech Republic, Tyrrell’s powerful and romantic voice was largely lost to history—until now. In this special guest recital on Monday, March 16 in Leffler Chapel and Performance Center at 7:30pm, Dr. Swigger performs works from her groundbreaking research, showcasing Tyrrell’s technical brilliance and poetic sensitivity.
