This is for her new record, “Tú De Mí Te Acordarás,” on Saturday, July 26 at Regal Rooms (located at 1204 Regal Row, Austin, TX 78748). Estani will be joined on stage by the GRAMMY-winning conjunto band Los Texmaniacs followed by a special Q&A about her documentary of the same name, “Tu De Mi Te Acordarás,” delving into the origins of Conjunto music and its enduring cultural significance in South Texas today. The event will kick off at 6 p.m. Tickets are available for purchase here.
The album, officially dropping on Friday, July 11, is a collection of music built on long-lost recordings from her grandmother, Rosita Lopez’s, Conjunto singing career in the 1960s and ’70s in San Antonio. Re-recording these vintage songs with her own contemporary lens, Estani creates a deeply personal tribute that fuses past and present sounds of the Texas borderland. To get a taste of the project, listen to the lead single “Mi Suerte Ha Cambiado” here or view its accompanying video here. The forthcoming documentary of the same name will call particular attention to the underappreciated, strong female voices in Conjunto. The film spotlights genre leaders, overlooked heroines, and modern continuances of Conjunto music that contribute to the genre’s staying power. Estani’s forthcoming album and documentary work in tandem to preserve the cultural heritage of yesteryear while making space for new voices. Check out the documentary trailer here. Additionally, Estani was recently nominated for Best Latin Traditional Record 2025 for her single, "Mi Suerte Ha Cambiado,” at the Hollywood Independent Music Awards (HIMA) happening on July 30, 2025 at The Avalon Theater in Hollywood, CA.
