This Event has Passed
This is more than a performance or a competition. It marks the beginning of a different kind of conservatory—one that provides free lessons to children across the Niagara Region and fosters programs grounded in creativity, emotional intelligence, and human connection. The Erie Niagara Conservatory does not see music as a product but as a relational practice that links generations, disciplines, and communities. It cultivates artists not just in skill, but in identity, confidence, and depth. From the first lesson to public performance and cultural leadership, the Conservatory supports the full artistic journey with care, vision, and purpose.
We think of music as being our collective responsibility to a flourishing and thriving community in which neurodevelopment and cognition are not only tied to traditional acaemics, but to the arts as well.
Founded by Dr. Antonella Di Giulio, an internationally active pianist, theorist, and educator, along Dr. Brian Stevens, Christina Santamaria, Monica Stankewicz, and other enthusiastic and community oriented board members, the Conservatory is committed to reimagining what a music institution can be.
Featuring Performances By:
Dr. Antonella Di Giulio – performing Liszt’s poetic masterpiece inspired by the legend of Hero and Leander
Christina Santamaria – mezzo-soprano singing beloved operatic arias
Dr. Martin Weir – percussionist performing Talking Circle by M. Goldenberg (arr. Weir)
Nicholas Weir – tuba soloist performing The Effervescent Ballroom by Frank Gulino
Prize Winners of the 2025 Erie Niagara Conservatory Competition
