(Elizabeth Pitcairn In Concert) Tahoe Symphony welcomes one of America's most beloved violin virtuosos, Elizabeth Pitcairn, for an intimate performance of Brahms Violin Concerto, performed on the famed Red Mendelssohn Stradivarius of 1720, said to have inspired the award-winning film, The Red Violin. Opening the show with her company debut is piano soloist, Chutoung Suter, performing Greig's Piano Concerto in A Minor.
