Environmental Day
Come out for a day of family fun and learn a bit about the great outdoors! Polk Township is holding a family Environmental Day on Sunday, October 5, 11 am-3 pm at its Walking Park. This free event will feature food, music, and activities such as a petting zoo, face painting, cider pressing, a pumpkin patch, crafts and games. State and community organizations will be on hand with informational displays and demonstrations regarding environmental topics such as fishing, fly tying, wildlife, farming, gardening, composting, recycling, etc.
The family Environmental Day will be held rain or shine, at the Polk Township Walking Park at 121 Polk Township Rd. in Kresgeville (Kunkletown address).
